Last Game for the Cheerleaders

Cheerleading season passed much quicker than I expected. They cheered for the Boys A Basketball Team tonight. I went a little early to watch Cole on the B Team.

Basketball against SLJH

The BDJH girls basketball team played against SLJH tonight. I love that the cheerleaders are cheering for the girls' teams. Not only for the principle, but because I know a lot more of the players. They are friends, former team mates, and classmates with Lexi. Some of the boys are too, but of course the girls are more. They cheered for the B team tonight, which Kacy (#40) is on (along with others).

We went early to watch Avery and Brady from church on the C Team. They lost by one point. Our B team won by 3 points. We stayed for the A team to watch Lexi's friend, Heather from SLJH. Our A team won by a lot. We have one insanely good player, Justice. She is 6'2" and incredible. Her mother was on the WMBA.

President of the Beehives

Look at these beautiful girls. They met today (first Sunday of 2019). They are in the class called Beehives. Lexi was chosen to be their president, which means she needs to love them, watch over them at church/school/wherever, plan activities, and be their leader. She has chosen Avery to be her first counselor. Eliza to be her second counselor. Ginger to be her secretary. These girls are going to go far in life.

YW Basketball Tournament

Today was the annual YW basketball tournament. They met at the stake center at 9 am and started playing against other wards. The games were only 8 minutes long and the refs called very few things. The girls always enjoy it. I was there with several moms (Stephanie and Kari) and we cheered loud and crazy. At the end of the day, our ward (Grand Lakes) were undefeated. Awesome girls!!!

New Years

Lexi's friend, Chancy, had a New Years party tonight. They had a great time. Jordan and I were at a party at the church. We picked her up when it was over. Chancy's mom let them toilet paper her neighbor's house. He is a 30 year old guy that they like to pull pranks on. They kept most of the TP on the ground though because Chancy will be responsible for cleaning it up.

Lexi has been wanting to get her hair cut again. I booked appointments with Laura. I went on Wednesday. She went today. Looks cute!
