We celebrated New Year's Eve at Grandma and Papa's house with Aunt Paige. Jordan did most of the party planning with Grandma. We ate finger foods, played games (Cranium & Apples to Apples), watched Guardians of the Galaxy 2, drank sparkling cider, and watched the NY ball drop at 11 pm.

Animal Shelter
Lexi often begs me, or anyone who will listen, to take her to an animal shelter. She really likes the one near Grandma Margie's house. She told Aunt Paige all about it and got her onboard. We stopped there this afternoon so they could all love on the animals.

Mall & Grandma’s Treatment
Grandma Margie had chemo today. We all wanted to be supportive and give Papa a break, but kids can't go to the hospital. Instead, Aunt Paige spent the day with her. wanted to go with her. I drove and we dropped Grandma and Paige off at MD Anderson in the Woodlands. Lexi enjoys looking at clothes stores, but she enjoyed the pet store the most.

Christmas Presents
We were all very spoiled this Christmas. Lexi got the dog pillow above from Grandma. Lexi had made a little dog quilt that Grandma turned into a pillow for her.

Christmas Eve Jammies
Like a lot of families, we have a pj Christmas Eve tradition. Several years ago, I made our Christmas pjs and ever since then, my kids thought the tradition was homemade pjs. I managed to make pajama pants for Lexi and Jordan and a nightgown for me. Everyone else got new pjs that came from the store. We all look pretty cute though. Notice that Lexi and I have the same fabric.

Talents and Games
Grandma Margie always likes to have a talent show on Christmas Eve. This year, we mostly told stories, jokes, and played charades. My talent was making videos of the talents.

Dinner on Christmas Eve
After church today, we headed right to Grandma and Papa's house to let the Christmas Festivities begin. Uncle Alma and Aunt Paige were already there. We shared a really nice dinner and enjoyed chatting. Of course, we have Tutti Fruiti (the wiener dog) with us.
