Christmas Presents

We were all very spoiled this Christmas. Lexi got the dog pillow above from Grandma. Lexi had made a little dog quilt that Grandma turned into a pillow for her.

Christmas Eve Jammies

Like a lot of families, we have a pj Christmas Eve tradition. Several years ago, I made our Christmas pjs and ever since then, my kids thought the tradition was homemade pjs. I managed to make pajama pants for Lexi and Jordan and a nightgown for me. Everyone else got new pjs that came from the store. We all look pretty cute though. Notice that Lexi and I have the same fabric.

Talents and Games

Grandma Margie always likes to have a talent show on Christmas Eve. This year, we mostly told stories, jokes, and played charades. My talent was making videos of the talents.

Dinner on Christmas Eve

After church today, we headed right to Grandma and Papa's house to let the Christmas Festivities begin. Uncle Alma and Aunt Paige were already there. We shared a really nice dinner and enjoyed chatting. Of course, we have Tutti Fruiti (the wiener dog) with us.

Christmas Eve Pictures

It is Christmas time and I used to send out Christmas card to everyone. Unfortunately, it is expensive and now that everyone uses photographers, it is even tougher. Instead, I snapped a few photos in our backyard and posted them on social media. I think they turned out fairly well considering that Lexi wasn't really cooperating and I used my cell phone.

Church Christmas Party

Our church Christmas party was tonight. We were excited for dinner, friends, and the kids' performance. Lexi and Jordan also got to sit on Santa's lap.

Christmas Morning

We have had quite a week filled with the flu. Yesterday, low grade fevers sprang back up on us in the afternoon and evening. This isn't a great way to spend the first week of school off or Christmas, but we'll make the best of it.

Before heading downstairs, I always like to take a picture of my kids. I think it builds anticipation.

Posing with their stockings.

After stockings, we eat breakfast before diving into the gifts. I had them post for a family photo while the chocolate croissants were cooking.

Lexi had a great Christmas. I am pretty sure her favorite thing is her new kindle.
