Arches National Park

We are heading back home from our vacation.  We spent the last few nights in Spanish Fork and started driving this morning.  Today, I thought it would be a good idea to stop off at Arches National Park.  We got there right about lunch time.  We hiked around for about an hour and got to see several arches.  It was the perfect stop right in the middle of the day.  

Family Reunion - Zion National Park

We spent the first day of our family reunion at Zion National Park.  The picture below is of Lexi and Jordan with their first cousins that are their same ages.  The eight year olds are standing in the back and their 6 year old siblings are sitting in front of them.

White Sands National Monument

We made it to El Paso today.  We're going to be here with friends for several days.  They invited us to go to White Sands National Monument tonight. The park stayed open late because of the full moon.  With the orbit of the moon bringing the moon closer than usual, it was quite a bright night.  The kids loved playing in the powered white sand with their new friends.  It looked a lot like snow.  There was a stage with a mariachi band.  We had a good time.
