Grandma finally got her car back from the repair shop and I finished a big proposal, so we set off on our way back to Texas. I'll be doing a lot of driving because we are ready to be home. These pictures were in Arizona at a Rest Area.

Tombstone
We took a little side trip today to stop in Tombstone, AZ. Like anyone would guess in July, it was HOT. We're use to a humid hot, which in some ways is worse. You can't really get sweaty when it is so dry that your sweat evaporates almost as it is being released. We enjoyed this little town, but definitely needed lots of water. They had a reenactment of the OK Coral. We walked the town and looked in shops. We even had lunch at a Saloon.

Wake Boarding Camp
Today was our last day in Waco. I took the kids out to BSR Cable park for wake boarding camp. It was 9 am to noon, which wasn't long enough, but they learned a lot and had fun. If I do this again, I'll plan to stay for the afternoon too and have them continue wake boarding. They were just starting to get it when it ended. Lexi was especially upset about it ending at noon. Apparently, I didn't explain that very well. She thought they were going to keep learning all day. We definitely have to do this again.
There was a practice/learning lake, which they started out on. Once they kind of got it, they were sent to the other lake. It was much harder over there. Lexi took a little longer to get to the big lake, but she held one longer there then most of the other kids. By the way, most of the other kids were in the week long camp and had spent all of Monday building their skills.

The Royal Flush
From noon to 6pm, we had a blast on the Royal Flush slides as BSR Cable Park. Actually, the kids had a blast. I thought it was pretty painful, so I only went off of the littlest one a few times. I enjoyed watching them and the other crazy people though. Lexi and Jordan did not slow down the whole time. They went over and over and over, only mentioning a few times how much it hurts. Lexi is more of the dare devil in this family. She was quick to try out the bigger slides, but only got up to the second biggest. Honestly, the lines for the smaller slides were shorter, but none of them were more than 5 minutes.
Morning at Magnolia Market
This morning, we headed over to Magnolia Market in Waco. The store part wasn't open yet, but we got treats from the bakery and then wandered around the grounds. The little design details are so inspiring. I actually enjoyed walking around the grounds more than the store, but mostly because I didn't have money to spend in there and everything was a bit high end/pricey.

Trip to Waco
I only had enough money for a little summer trip this year, so we went to Waco, Texas. It has become quite a popular stop thanks to Chip & Joanna Gain's popularity on the hit show, Fixer Upper. My kids happen to LOVE HGTV, which surprises me. We went to church today and they set off on the three hour drive. After we checked into our hotel, we did a little exploring around town. We went by Magnolia Market just to see the location. I know that Chip & Joanna are religious, so I figured that it would be closed today. We also walked around the river and across the bridges. Waco is a cute little town.
We have quite an adventure planned tomorrow. When we got settled into our hotel, I turned on the television and flipped to the travel channel. They were featuring extreme water parks and wouldn't you know it...the one we're going to tomorrow was first.
The stop signs in the downtown area of Waco have little flashing lights around the edges. Lexi decided that she wanted to pose with one. I had to take a few pictures in order to get one with the lights on.
