Camp Journey

Lexi has been volunteering at Camp Journey (http://www.journeyadventures.org/) this summer. She has gone a few times anyway. Today, I took pictures as she sat in the car before the morning shuttle was there. She took pictures of two dogs and a pony out at the camp. It is such a great experience for her to serve others. She also is friends with several of the volunteers. Some days it is 12:30 to 5 pm. This week, it is 9 am to 5 pm.

Prince Fuzzington III

We're dog sitting starting today. Sadly, a family that we know lost their dad. They headed to Utah for the funeral and we're watching their dog, Prince Fuzzington III. The name makes me laugh. It is a 7 month old malti-poo.

Tutti Fruiti Love

I noticed that Lexi took a few pictures on my phone of Tutti Fruiti. Lexi is definitely going to miss her when she goes back to her family.

Easter Baskets

It is Easter Sunday and the kids were very excited to find their baskets. They got swimsuits, clothes, candy, and snacks. Lexi also got a game - Cat Stacking. We have a visitor this weekend - Lucy.

Have you ever wondered why I have less pictures of Lexi lately? She has become the queen of avoiding pictures. She turns, holds her phone up in the way, complains a LOT, and generally ruins my pictures of her. So - there will be less for a while until she finishes this annoying stage (hopefully, soon).

Tutti 2 Art Project

Lexi has a big 3D art project that she has been working on with Grandma since January. We went up to Grandma's today so they could work on it. She is making a wooden wiener dog, which of course was inspired by Tutti Fruiti (the dog we're taking care of this year). The goal this time was to put it together.

Mall & Grandma’s Treatment

Grandma Margie had chemo today. We all wanted to be supportive and give Papa a break, but kids can't go to the hospital. Instead, Aunt Paige spent the day with her. wanted to go with her. I drove and we dropped Grandma and Paige off at MD Anderson in the Woodlands. Lexi enjoys looking at clothes stores, but she enjoyed the pet store the most.

Dinner on Christmas Eve

After church today, we headed right to Grandma and Papa's house to let the Christmas Festivities begin. Uncle Alma and Aunt Paige were already there. We shared a really nice dinner and enjoyed chatting. Of course, we have Tutti Fruiti (the wiener dog) with us.
