Tutti 2 Art Project

Lexi has a big 3D art project that she has been working on with Grandma since January. We went up to Grandma's today so they could work on it. She is making a wooden wiener dog, which of course was inspired by Tutti Fruiti (the dog we're taking care of this year). The goal this time was to put it together.

Artwork on the Beach

Aunt Vicki offered to work with Lexi on an art project this afternoon. I came to the RV park this evening after work and snapped a few pictures of them. What a beautiful setting to be inspired. They turned out great.    

Moon Phases Costume

The 5th Grade had a science vocabulary parade today. They had to dress up as phrases. Lexi got Lunar Phases, so we painted this shirt. We enjoyed coming up with something that was sciency & cute. Lexi got the idea from Pinterest and my mom bought the materials. This morning, she realized it needed some pizazz and asked me to add the shoulder bows.

Disney Art

I am not sure what got into Lexi. She usually just gets her mind set on a project and does it. For the past 2 days, she has been creating Disney drawings. 

Birthday Party Prep

We're having a big birthday party tomorrow to celebrate Jordan's 8th birthday. It is a Harry Potter themed party with lots of prep work involved. Grandma had Lexi and Jordan help paint a troll for the bean bag toss. 

Nutcracker Art

Lexi brought home this art project she did in school.  Funny that they did the project right after she saw the ballet.

Mathematician Poster

Lexi is going to be the mathematician for the week at school.  She has to bring a poster, guessing game, and do a few other things. I thought it would be great for her to make a Christmas themed math poster.  I took pictures of her doing math-type things.  We had them printed along with Christmasy clip art.  She figured out the placement on the poster and added a few hand-written blurbs.

Fashion Drawings

Lexi drew these fashion characters and really got into it.  They turned out so cute I decided to take pictures.
