Early Birthday Party

Birthday Girls

Lexi loves to start planning her birthday party months in advance. This year, I had no idea who we would invite since we still haven't made many friends. We talked about having some kind of celebration when her cousins were here, but she wanted her birthday party. Her cousin, Eden (Alma's daughter), also turns four in January. Actually, on the 2nd. We decided her have a combined birthday party for the girls. It was yesterday. We ordered pizzas and went to a local park. It was the day before 5 of the cousins left, so it was important to have an amazing time. They all had fun.

Beach Picnic

After church today, we went to La Jolla Shores to have a picnic and play on the playground. Some of Lexi's cousins also played on the beach. It was a little cold for those of us from the South.

Christmas Morning

We had a great Christmas. Lexi said that she got a lot more than she expected, which is always a good thing. She had asked for a hula hoop, a unicorn, and a pet shop toy. She got the first two and more. Santa also brought scooters for her and Jordan.

Christmas Mass

Tonight, we went to Christmas mass at Papa Malcolm's Church. About a month ago, he asked several of us to sing in the choir and with his band. My brothers (Clayton & Alma), sister-in-law (Katie), and I agreed. We sang for about half an hour for the prelude and then another 10 songs or so for the Mass. The kids were entertained because the daycare was set up for them. They got to play and eat snacks. We took a few photos after mass.

Seaworld Today

We went to Seaworld with Lexi & Jordan's cousins today. There always seems to be something that stands out when we go and today the highlight was sitting on Santa's lap.
