Football Against Beck Jr High

BDJH played Beck Junior High this evening. The team cheered for the B team, which won. They were losing almost the entire game - 6 to 0. Beck made a touch down and the field goal looked good, but they didn't get the extra point, so I am not sure why. In the last few minutes, BDJH scored a touchdown and made the field goal. The girls had lots to cheer about.

Being a cheer mom is kind of distracting. The girls do lots of cheers and I always stop watching the game to watch them. They keep us entertained.

Volleyball Game Against Katy Jr High

This week Lexi's team played Katy Junior High. It was an away game. The B team played first. Then the A team. The C team was last, so I watched all three. All three teams won.

First Football Game

The first football game was today and the cheerleaders were completely ready to go. Even a little downpour didn't stop them. They were fantastic.

First Jr High Volleyball Game

Lexi had her first junior high volleyball game today. Go Bears!!! It was a home game and the C team played first. They beat Cinco Ranch Junior High. It was pretty easy for them even though CRJH is a good school too. The B & A teams were not so lucky. 

Visiting Grandma

Grandma Margie has not been doing well at all. She was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and has been in the ICU since Thursday with incredibly high fevers that are not responding to Tylenol. Lexi and I went up to visit her today. We stopped at the airport to pick up Aunt Paige and Uncle Clayton. She has had lots of scary episodes and close calls. 

After several days of not eating or drinking anything, she was able to take a moment to thoroughly enjoy this popsicle.
