Spooktacular Sunday

It is no secret that around here we love holidays and SeaWorld. Mix the two and we experience pure bliss. We had one of those wonderful days today. All this month (October), SeaWorld is hosting Halloween Spooktacular. They are encouraging everyone to dress up and do a little trick-or-treating. I had Lexi and Jordan dig through their costume bin to find something interesting to wear. Lexi wanted to wear her Princess Bell dress. Jordan didn't have a lot of options, so I decided to go with the knight in shining armour. The kids also talked Paige into dressing up. She was a French Woman. We all had fun.

LegoLand Day 1

This morning started as a regular boring Saturday. We planned to run errands. When we were ready to go, my mom's brother called to say that they were visiting my cousing (their daughter) in California and were going to LegoLand today. They wanted to know if we could meet them. Of course, we said yes and headed out to meet them. We had a wonderful time and Lexi LOVED playing with her second cousins. We're going again tomorrow.

SeaWorld Day

It has been a crazy week for me with my sinus infection and too much work. We made it to a great playgroup, but other than that we haven't done a lot. Today, I decided that we needed to go to SeaWorld for a few hours. As usual, we had a wonderful time.

Ballet

Lexi had another dance class this week. The lesson went well for the first 15 minutes. Then the kids seemed to get hyper. The poor teacher had a difficult time keeping them focused especially the younger ones. She does everything right, but she doesn't have a commanding personality. Some little girls were wandering around the room doing their own thing. Lexi did everything she was asked but paid too much attention to herself in the mirror. We stayed after to watch the next class that is full of young teenagers. She saw how serious they are and how well they listen. I am sure she'll do better next week.
