Family History
Aunt Sue pulled out a book about her mom, Grandma Lorena, and her parents and siblings. There are a lot of cool stories about their lives on the ranch in New Mexico. Lexi enjoyed looking through the book and learning a little more about the woman her middle name comes from.
Fishing with Uncle Fred
This morning, Uncle Fred took Lexi down to his pond to fish. He prefers to be one on one with the kids. They both enjoyed it.

Tallahassee Outing
Lexi and Jordan have been sleeping in the back room with the younger cousins: London and MorganRyan. Here they are in the morning being silly in their pjs.
Today, we had an outing planned, so Lexi worked on getting the girls ready.
Kids loving their devices. That is why it is good to have plenty of fun activities to distract them from these things.
Aunt Sue pulled out a bunch of hats for the outing. Back row: Reagan, Karson, Lexi, & Riley. Front row: Jordan, MorganRyan, and London.

Wacissa Swimming Hole
This morning, my aunt and uncle took us to a swimming hole that was about 5 miles away. It is called Wacissa Springs. It was quite cold, but the kids loved it. They jumped off with the rope swing several times. Lexi, MorganRyan, and London enjoyed trying to catch fish.

Slip-N-Slide
When we got back from Bob's River Place, the kids set up a slip-n-slide. It was a perfect way for Lexi and Jordan to get to know their second cousins better.

Bob's River Place
We went to the best swimming place today. All of us were amazed by it. It is called Bob's River Place and it was just north of Gainesville. My cousin, Kim, joined us with her two daughters (Regan & London). My other cousin, Tiffany, met us there with her family. This place had waterslides, rope swings, and tall platforms to jump off of. None of us remember seeing anything like this since the 70s or 80s. They had workers around, but not all the safety precautions that most places do these days. It was fabulous. We definitely want to go again.

Sunday with Aunt Sue
We made it to Aunt Sue's house last night. It is a long drive, but better to do it all at once. This is our first time back in Florida since we moved away exactly 8 years ago. Lexi and Jordan explored the area. This picture above is of Aunt Sue's house. Directly below, they are in the tree house.

Tallahassee Here We Come
We are on our way to Tallahassee to visit my Aunt Sue & Uncle Fred for a week. Two of their kids are coming with grandkids to hang-out with us. We definitely had to stop at Buc-ees to pick up snacks and pose with the Beaver. That is just what you do in Texas.

New Bike
I wanted to wait until Christmas to get the kids new bikes, but Lexi's tires are shredded on her old one. We have had such a good time on our bike rides lately. I decided to see what was for sale and thought we'd check out thrift stores too. Our first stop was Academy (which is headquartered in Katy). They had this amazing bike on sale for less than $40. It has gears and everything!!! I couldn't pass up the deal.

Water Skiing on the 4th of July
We had the privilege of going waterskiing with our friends in a lake that is about 2 hours away. It was a great day for it and we always love being with them. Jordan and Lexi did quite well for their first water skiing trip. The pictures make them look like professionals. I was sure to snap them as soon as they got up.
