There is an older theater in our city that has converted to an Alamo Draft House. You can order all different kinds of food while you watch your movie. They often have specialty movies that are older or have cult followings where you can be a little more vocal and silly. They had How the Grinch Stole Christmas today, so we went. It was a fun experience.

Star Wars & Rockets Game
This was quite an amazing day. We went to see the new Star Wars movie and loved it. I liked the girl power. I think Ren is going to be one of the best Jedis ever.
This afternoon, we had an early dinner at the Cheesecake Factory in the Galleria and then headed to the Rockets game. The evening was a Christmas gift from my work. They wanted to provide us with an experience. We LOVED it.

Church Christmas Party
Our church Christmas party was tonight. We took Grandma Margie, Papa Malcolm as well as Sonja and Juan. There was a nice dinner, pot-luck desserts, a show, and Santa.
Mom/Daughter Day
Jordan and I got to spend some time together last Saturday. Today, it was Lexi's turn to be with me. Jordan spent the night with Grandma & Papa. Lexi and I went to the mall and she wanted to do a few of the same things he did.

Polar Express Day
It is Polar Express Day at Lexi and Jordan's school, which is one of their favorite events. It always happens on the last day before Christmas break. They only have a half day of school, but it is all fun. They get to wear pjs, drink hot chocolate, play games, and watch the Polar Express movie.
After school got out, Lexi's friend Kristina came to our house. Her mom works until 6 pm, so she comes over quite often. They were really excited about school being out for the next few weeks.

Catholic/LDS Christmas Choir
Lexi has been practicing for the last few months for the Catholic/LDS Christmas Choir Concert. She had 2 friends from church that also participated: Eliza & Ahnyka. Ahnyka's mom is one of the directors for the adult choir. She is an amazing musician. Papa Malcolm is in the adult choir and has been practicing too.
Here is the grand finale for the adults: https://www.facebook.com/dionni.stone?fref=ts

Dog-sitting Rugar
We are dog-sitting again. This girl is named Rugar. I am friends with the owner and they had to go out of town for a show in Arizona (they build furniture - Katy Wine Barrel Company). Lexi is happy, but Rugar prefers to hang out in Jordan's room. I guess she is just used to boys since her owner has 2.

Texas Style Christmas
This evening, we drove up to College Station to experience a real Texas Christmas. They had bbq, lights, hay rides, and just about anything else you could imagine. We went with Grandma Margie, Papa Malcolm, Aunt Kathryn (Malcolm's daughter), Uncle Jason (Malcolm's son-in-law), Jackson (Malcolm's grandson), Sonja and Juan. Grandma and Papa dressed up with their very festive costumes. They looked amazing.

Christmas Tree Shopping
We went Christmas tree shopping to our regular place. We picked one out and they trimmed it for us. They also help shove it into our car. Lexi and Jordan had to squeeze in to get it home. We decorated it and it turned out great.
