Lexi's Baptism

Lexi's baptism was today.  We had family, close friends, and quite a few church members there. We all felt blessed and loved.  Lexi planned the entire thing and decided what role everyone would play.  She really likes to take charge.  The baptism (by immersion) and confirmation were performed by our home teachers, who always go out of their way to help us.  The witnesses were Papa Steve and Uncle Scott. The talks were given by Gram and Grandma Margie.  Papa Malcolm played his guitar and sang an amazing song from his church.  He had us all join in on the chorus. Miss Tiffany said the opening prayer and I said the closing prayer.  Lexi was also lucky enough to have Grandma here to make her a white dress and fluffy cover.  All the girls thought it was adorable. When it was over, we served 6 dozen glazed donuts from Southern Maid.  Apparently, everyone likes them as much as we do, because they were all eaten up.
